Every design needs a jumping off point, and for Project Le Port it was the Persian rugs that had been in the family for generations.

For the third year in a row, Strand Interiors has won a “Best of Houzz” award for Customer Service on Houzz®, the leading platform for home remodeling and design.

This dining room was stuck in early 2000s Tuscan style and in need of a refresh. Though some of the furniture felt heavy and dated, the grand dining table still fit the space perfectly, so we decided to work with it.

As a first-time homeowner, this client wanted to put her own touch on her new condo. We quickly landed on an organic modern design aesthetic, leaning into a neutral color palette and varied textures, such as chunky knits and plaster, to create a cohesive yet cozy space.
